You should always be grateful for what you already have. Someone else is going to be better than you, have things that you don’t have and be what you may strive to be, but to someone else, that’s what you are and have to them. You have things that someone else doesn’t have, be what someone else wants to be, and that cycle just goes on and on. Everyone is different, in one way or another, and not everyone is going to have the same things as others. You should be happy with who you are right now and accept your life as it is, and if you don’t like it, if you can change it, then do it. There are two thoughts that separates people from others: there are people who accept what they don’t have and who they can’t be, and embrace it, then there’s people who continue to strive for what’s not meant for them. Gratitude changes everything, and you decide how you want to live your life.
